A specialized inventory management and production tracking web application tailored for a custom candle-making business.
The Challenge
Managing complex product formulas while keeping precise track of raw material stocks (such as scents, waxes, and bases), and maintaining a detailed historical log of production batches without relying on cumbersome, error-prone spreadsheets.
The Solution
Developed a responsive, bilingual (English/Greek) Next.js application that centralizes operations. The system features intuitive dashboards for real-time material tracking, a custom recipe builder that automatically calculates and deducts ingredients from inventory upon production, and a lightweight JSON-based database architecture for fast, reliable data management.
The Result
Streamlined the entire manufacturing workflow, drastically reduced manual stock-taking errors, and provided actionable insights into material usage and production history, allowing the business owner to focus more on creation and less on administration.
